2018 DUCTLESS TRAINING PROGRAM

Ferguson HVAC and Samsung HVAC offer a state of the art training program through classroom lectures helping you with quality installations and service. Our full-time trainers are highly knowledgeable, with years of installation and troubleshooting experience. Training is offered local to you throughout our locations in California and Arizona.

ECO 1.1:  DVM S ECO INTRODUCTION AND BASIC INSTALLATION
This is a one-day comprehensive training class to introduce the Samsung DVM S, single phase VRF air-cooled /heat pump system:

• VRF technology is reviewed including system “capacity connection ratio” and “load diversity” features
• Operation features and installation guidelines of all of the DVM S ECO indoor and outdoor units
• The required installation practices for field refrigerant piping and components
• SNET Pro 2 service software tool: How to launch, set up and use its unique features to commission, configure and monitor DVM S Eco systems
• Commissioning steps covered

RLC 5: RLC INTRODUCTION AND INSTALLATION (RAC-CAC-FJM)
This is a one-day training to introduce the Samsung Residential Light Commercial inverter heat pump systems. This includes
the RAC, CAC and FJM mini split product lines. The training includes:

• The “MAX Heat” and “Low Ambient Cooling” cooling-only models
• Inverter technology is explained along with main system components that are included in each product line
• The system operations and unique features of each product line are thoroughly reviewed along with the specified installation practices and procedures
• Each product line has a unique offering of accessories which
are reviewed

RLC 5.5:  RLC BASIC SERVICE AND TROUBLESHOOTING
This one-day training course reviews the mini split inverter technology and main components that are part of the indoor and outdoor units:

• An overview of how the wireless remote controllers function with the system
• Basic system troubleshooting and interpreting error codes
• Most common error codes are identified and test procedures reviewed
